Our Responsible Fabrics Framework helps guide the materials we prioritise across our collections. Built around five key fibre pillars, it supports our commitment to making more considered choices in how we design and source our products for a lower-impact future.
While these fibres sit at the heart of our approach, creating products that deliver on comfort, quality, durability, performance and accessibility requires a considered approach. That's why every fabric choice is considered as
part of the end garment, its purpose, how it will be worn, and what matters most to our customer.
Our focus is on continually improving the choices we make, maximising the use of preferred fibres where possible and being transparent about the journey we're on.
Our 5 key pillars
We prioritise organic fibres grown without synthetic pesticides, toxic chemicals or genetically modified seeds.
To support credibility and traceability, we work with a network of suppliers and mills, including those certified to recognised standards such as the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Organic Content Standard (OCS). We also prioritise organic cotton certified to recognised organic agricultural standards.
Our collections feature natural fibres sourced with consideration for people, animals and the environment, including linen, wool, alpaca and Australian cotton.
Known for their comfort, breathability and durability, natural fibres play an important role across our collections.
We rescue leftover, surplus or overstocked materials sourced from mills and suppliers.
By giving existing fabrics a second life, we help reduce waste and limit the need for new material production. Since 2020, we've rescued more than 61,272 metres of fabric, and counting.
We partner with like-minded innovators who are working to improve how textiles are produced.
These materials often offer greater traceability and environmental credentials than conventional alternatives.
Our preferred branded fibres include LENZING™ viscose, LENZING™, ECOVERO™, TENCEL™ and ECONYL®.
We source recycled materials made from discarded textiles and other waste products, helping reduce reliance on virgin resources.
To support credibility and traceability, we prioritise suppliers with recognised certifications, including the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS).
