We select fabrics which have been produced in a way that is kinder on the planet. We include recycled synthetics such as recycled polyester, support sustainable cotton farming practises in partnership with the Better Cotton Initiative and include organic and recycled cotton in our garments. We are developing products with hemp, linen and lyocell fabrications, which require less water and chemical inputs. We are committed to working with our suppliers to identify production processes that reduce impact on the environment. We reduce waste wherever we can. Our labelling & packaging utilises recycled materials where possible and we are constantly working to improve on this. Please see our Considered Promises for more info. Please see our Glossary of Terms for more info on our Materials & Processes.

Our products are designed locally and we are working with our existing supplier base to manufacture products with 6 suppliers in China and 1 in Bangladesh. It’s one of our goals to source and produce part of our range locally. As the new brand for Cotton On Group, we are partnering with our suppliers to develop and trial environmentally considered production processes, with the view to implementing these at scale across the group wherever possible. We work closely with our suppliers and happily disclose them on our website. We value our partnerships, with whom we have had relationships for some 20yrs. We share their stories on our website.

CERES means Goddess of Harvest and is also the love a mother bears for her child. The name connects us to the slow living and organic movement and is also the hometown of the Cotton On Group’s Founder.
