Natural Harry was kind enough to share her simple truths on food & life.
We asked Harriet :
In short – what is your elevator pitch to how you moved into the wellness space?
A desire to educate myself about my health and my own body. Feeling sluggish and tired but wired with some adrenal fatigue and beginning a search for answers and taking my self care in regards to feeding myself nourishing food into my own hands.
What inspires, motivates & excites you?
Feeling well and healthy from filling my plate with simple whole food, veggies, legumes, beans, pulses, nuts, seeds and grains! Making eating more of that goodness accessible and easy in a down to earth way motivates and excites me!
Can you explain the essence of your book ‘WHOLE’ ?
Eat wholefood, as close to it's natural state as possible and look after yourself... but don't be a goose about it. In essence, WHOLE is a recipe book for the lazy cook that still wants to get a whole bunch of nourishing goodness into their life.
What does a normal work day look like for you, if this is such a thing?
No such thing for me! hahah! No routine... I go with the flow and definitely work way to much but I love what I do and I try to take breaks in nature when ever I can! There is usually a swim or surf in there but that is so tide, wind and swell dependent. Might even be the reason I don't have much of a 'normal' day. The rest of the day its many of the mundane life things like washing, cooking, cleaning, veggie gardening dotted in amongst wearing many hats, admin, marketing, bookkeeping, content creation, recipe development and.. usually about 10 - 15 mins of yoga to balance that all out :)
What can we expect from you in the future? Anymore books?
Yes! My third book, HOME is out for pre-order now and officially out October 29th! Aside from that I have a big thing in the works I cannot announced yet!
